Installation Guidelines

Maintain the minimum bend radius of 25.4 mm (1.0 in) during routing to prevent coaxial core damage. Ensure that the probe-to-extension cable connections are tightened finger-tight, up to a maximum recommended connector torque of 0.565 N-m (5 in-lb). Coaxial connectors must be dry and free of oil or contaminants before assembly. Use of connector protectors or silicone self-coupling tape is recommended for environments exposed to moisture or liquid contaminants, but silicone tape is not recommended in turbine oil environments.
