330906-02-12-05-02-00 specifies a Bently Nevada 3300 NSv reverse mount proximity probe configured with an unthreaded case length of 0.2 inches, an overall case length of 1.2 inches, and a 3/8-24 UNF-2A thread profile. This probe option features a 0.5-meter (20-inch) standard FEP cable with a miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector and is supplied without hazardous area agency approvals. Unlike standard-mount models that are screwed into place from outside the machine housing, reverse-mount probes are installed from the inside or rear, protecting the sensor body and maintaining position settings in tight spaces.
This probe operates with a 3300 XL NSv proximity transducer system and is interchangeable with legacy 3300 RAM proximity probe installations. The transducer system provides non-contact shaft vibration and axial position measurements on small-bore machinery or high-speed machinery where clearance constraints limit probe tip diameter.
The 3300 NSv reverse mount probe is used for non-contact displacement, radial vibration, and axial position measurements in rotating machinery. It is suited for high-speed machinery with limited target geometry, such as aeroderivative gas turbines, centrifugal compressors, small pumps, and auxiliary equipment where standard probe casing clearances are insufficient.
