CRITICAL WARNING
Ensure the monitored machinery is completely shut down, isolated, and depressurized before attempting installation. Escaping process fluid or oil under pressure can cause severe personal injury. Follow all facility lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures.
Pre-Installation Inspection
Inspect the housing threads, standoff adapter, and sleeve. Ensure all sealing surfaces are clean, free of nicks, scratches, or manufacturing debris.
Apply Thread Sealant
Apply an industrial-grade thread sealant (appropriate for the machine operating temperature and media) to the 3/4-14 NPT mounting threads.
Mounting and Torquing
Carefully thread the housing assembly into the machine casing port. Torque the assembly to specifications, taking care not to cross-thread or over-tighten.
Probe Routing and Sealing
Route the 0.5-meter probe cable through the protective conduit and seal the unused ports using the provided 3/4-14 NPT plug to maintain complete environmental protection.
