Installation Guidelines

  • Ensure the system is powered off prior to inserting or removing the controller board.
  • Align the module with the guide rails of the standard General Electric VME Rack Mounting Assembly.
  • Slide the board firmly into place until the rear male terminals fully engage with the backplane connector.
  • Fasten the front metal faceplate thumbscrews to secure the board within the rack.
  • Connect RJ-45 Ethernet cables and serial COM lines to the corresponding front panel ports.
  • Maintain adequate clearance around the cooling unit to allow proper heat dissipation.
