What happens to the valve position during a power failure?

The ETS 250 is a stepper-motor-driven valve and will remain in its last position if power is lost. For safety in critical systems, it is recommended to use a controller equipped with a battery backup (UPS) or a capacitor module to force the valve to the closed position upon power loss.

Is there a specific orientation required for the M12 connector?

Engineering & Installation Guide

  • Moisture Management: While the electrical connection is rated IP67, ensure that the M12 cable is properly seated and the locking nut is hand-tightened. In low-temperature applications, ensure that the valve and actuator are adequately insulated to prevent excessive ice buildup, which can put mechanical stress on the electrical cable.
