  2. 2 Use only the supplied USA power cord and AC adapter. Connecting to an incorrect voltage or using a non-approved power supply can cause permanent damage to the device.
  3. 3 Connect the AC adapter to a properly grounded (earthed) electrical outlet to ensure electrical safety and minimize the risk of electrical noise affecting communication.
  4. 4 Power on the device and allow the operating system to load completely. Verify that the pre-installed Siemens software licenses are active and accessible.
  5. 5 Before connecting to any plant network or controller, ensure the Field PG's network settings are correctly configured to avoid IP address conflicts. It is recommended to perform a full backup of the target controller's program before making any changes.
