Description

Option 000 (0 mm unthreaded length), Option 040 (40 mm case length), and Option 02 (ClickLoc connector, standard cable) specify this 3300 XL 11 mm proximity probe configuration with stainless steel armor — 330704-000-040-10-02-05. This 3300 XL 11 mm Proximity Probe features metric M14 x 1.5 threads and integrated flexible AISI 302 stainless steel armor with an FEP outer jacket for physical protection in demanding environments. It provides a 3.94 V/mm (100 mV/mil) output when paired with a matching 3300 XL 11 mm Proximitor Sensor and extension cable.

Installation Guidelines

Proper physical installation of the probe is required for correct measurement. Position the probe tip at the recommended gap setting of 2.5 mm (100 mils) from the target surface (approximately -10 Vdc output). Use a class-matching thread and do not exceed the maximum rated installation torque of 63.3 N-m (560 in-lb) for the M14 x 1.5 case. The recommended installation torque is 21.1 N-m (187 in-lb). Maintain a minimum bend radius of 25.4 mm (1.0 in) for both armored and unarmored cable portions. If connectors are exposed to high moisture or turbine oil, install a fluorosilicone connector protector or wrap with recommended silicone self-fusing tape to prevent moisture ingress and signal degradation.
