  3. 3 Mount the HMI: Insert the touch panel into the cutout from the front of the enclosure. Secure it from the rear using the provided mounting clips, tightening them evenly to the manufacturer's specified torque to ensure a uniform seal.
  4. 4 Connect Cabling: Connect the DC power supply, communication cables, and any other required I/O. Ensure all connectors are fully seated and secured. Route cables away from high-voltage lines to minimize electrical noise.
  5. 5 Ground the Unit: Connect the functional earth (FE) terminal on the HMI to the main protective ground of the control cabinet using a low-impedance conductor to ensure proper noise immunity and safety.
  6. 6 Final Checks and Power-Up: After all connections are verified, remove LOTO devices and re-energize the cabinet. Power on the HMI and confirm correct operation and communication with the control system.
