  2. 2 De-energize the main cabinet power supply and apply lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures. Confirm zero voltage with a calibrated multimeter.
  3. 3 Insert the Panel PC into the cutout from the front of the panel. Secure it from the rear using all provided mounting clamps, tightening them evenly to the specified torque to ensure a proper seal.
  4. 4 Connect a low-impedance protective earth (PE) or functional ground conductor to the designated terminal on the IPC chassis. This is critical for safety and noise immunity.
  5. 5 Connect the 24 V DC power supply wiring to the IPC's power connector, observing correct polarity (+/-). Use appropriately sized conductors and ensure a secure connection.
  6. 6 Connect all required network (Ethernet), peripheral (USB), and serial (RS-232) cables. Ensure cable shields are properly terminated as required.
  7. 7 After verifying all connections are secure and tools are removed, remove LOTO devices and re-energize the cabinet. Power on the IPC and confirm successful boot and operation.
