Installation Guidelines

Installation must be performed by qualified personnel only. Disconnect and lock out all power sources before accessing the control panel or making any connections. This device contains components sensitive to electrostatic discharge (ESD). Use appropriate ESD protection, including wrist straps and grounded mats, during handling and installation.

  1. 1 Ensure the control cabinet is completely de-energized and locked out before beginning installation. Verify the absence of voltage.
  2. 2 Prepare the panel cutout according to the device's mechanical specifications. Ensure the mounting surface is clean, flat, and rigid.
  3. 3 Insert the Panel PC into the cutout from the front. Secure it from the rear using all provided mounting clamps, tightening them evenly to the specified torque to ensure a proper seal.
  4. 4 Connect the protective earth (PE) terminal to the cabinet's main ground point using a low-impedance conductor. This connection is critical for safety and noise immunity.
  5. 5 Connect the AC power supply, Ethernet, PROFIBUS, and any other required I/O cables. Ensure all connectors are fully seated and secured. Provide adequate strain relief for all cabling.
  6. 6 After verifying all connections are correct and secure, remove the lockout/tagout devices and re-energize the cabinet to commission the Panel PC.
