Installation Guidelines

• Mount the module directly to the machine frame or mounting plate. No protective enclosure or cabinet is required thanks to the IP67 housing rating.
• Ensure all M8 and M12 connectors are securely tightened to the specified torque to maintain the integrity of the environmental seal.
• Use shielded cabling for all serial communication lines (RS232/RS422/RS485) and ensure the shield is properly terminated at the connector.
• Keep total serial cable lengths within safe limits: maximum 15 m for RS232 connections, and up to 1000 m for RS422/RS485 networks.
