This cable acts as the electrical link between a 3300 XL 25 mm proximity probe and a 3300 XL 25 mm Proximitor sensor. Unlike variant option 25 which features stainless steel armor, this option 24 configuration uses a lightweight, unarmored 75 ohm triaxial FluidLoc cable insulated with perfluoroalkoxyethylene (PFA). The FluidLoc technology prevents moisture and process fluids from traversing the cable core, protecting the click-lock coaxial connectors from contamination.

Installation Guidelines

• Coaxial shielding is isolated from the mounting bracket or panel and must be grounded at the monitor/instrumentation rack.
• Ensure the fluorosilicone connector protectors are installed over the mated ClickLoc connectors to prevent contamination from dirt and moisture.
• Maintain the minimum bend radius of 25.4 mm (1.0 inch) during routing to prevent cable strain or internal signal degradation. Avoid running the extension cable alongside high-voltage AC power wiring to prevent electromagnetic interference.
• Hand-tighten the ClickLoc connectors; do not exceed 0.565 N-m (5 in-lb) of torque.
