The TC-FPCXX2 is functionally interchangeable with older Honeywell legacy chassis power options, but caution must be exercised regarding mounting pitch and backplane connector alignment. While standard C200 controllers utilize similar configurations, always verify that the chassis slot keying matches the deep-recessed connector housing on the back of this module before attempting hot insertion.
Because this power supply uses a non-replaceable, soldered-in input fuse, external overcurrent protection (such as an inline terminal block fuse or miniature circuit breaker rated at 5 A or 10 A depending on input configuration) is highly recommended. If an internal component fault triggers the soldered fuse, the entire unit must be serviced or replaced; external fusing mitigates transient line surges from rendering the module permanently inoperable on site.
Before applying power, verify the position of the dual-voltage slide selector switch located on the unit. Energizing a module configured for 115 VAC with a 230 VAC supply line will cause immediate, catastrophic damage to the input varistors and internal circuitry, voiding standard field warranties.
CRITICAL WARNING
Isolate and lock out all incoming AC power lines before mounting or sliding the power module into the chassis. Do not touch terminal screws or the rear connector interface while the main bus is energized. Failure to comply can result in severe electrical shock, equipment destruction, or unexpected process downtime.
Locate the input voltage selector switch on the side or rear of the module. Confirm its setting matches your local utility supply level (115 VAC or 230 VAC nominal).
Align the module with the guide rails of the designated left-most power supply slot in the chassis.
Slide the module firmly backward until the rear interface connector seats fully into the backplane socket. Hand-tighten the integrated retaining screws to secure the unit structurally.
Connect the external, de-energized AC supply wiring to the input terminals, ensuring the protective earth ground wire is established first.
