The MR-JE-300A is the analog/pulse train interface variant of the MR-JE series. It is not directly interchangeable with the MR-JE-300B, which is configured for high-speed fiber-optic SSCNET III/H network motion communication. Verify control system command architecture prior to installation.
As an IP20 open-type unit featuring force cooling, this amplifier is susceptible to conductive dust and fine particulates. Enclosing the unit within a dust-tight IP54 industrial cabinet is necessary for reliable continuous operation. Ensure at least 40 mm of clearance at the top and bottom of the unit to permit unrestricted fan-driven airflow.
Ensure a solid chassis ground connection is established before applying control voltage. When configuring the drive using MR Configurator2, run the initial auto-tuning sequence with the mechanical load fully decoupled to prevent sudden high-frequency resonance or system instability.
Isolate and lock out the main 3-phase incoming power. Wait at least 15 minutes for the internal bus capacitors to fully discharge. Always measure the DC bus voltage across the positive and negative terminals to confirm it is below 50 V DC before executing wiring modifications.
Mount the servo amplifier vertically on a flat, vibration-free panel within a clean industrial enclosure.
Connect the main 3-phase 200 V AC lines to the L1, L2, and L3 power supply terminals using shielded cabling.
Verify and connect the motor output terminal phases (U, V, W) and the encoder feedback connector securely.
Secure ground terminals to the common ground bar to minimize electromagnetic interference (EMI).
