Description
Option 00 (0 mm unthreaded length), Option 04 (40 mm case length), and Option 50 (5.0 m total length with FluidLoc cable and connector protector) specify this 3300 XL 8 mm proximity probe configuration — 330103-00-04-50-11-00. This non-contact eddy-current transducer system component is used for shaft vibration, axial position, and speed measurements on rotating machinery. The unarmored design uses an M10 x 1 metric thread and is built specifically with a 5.0-meter overall length, meaning it must pair directly with a 5-meter Proximitor sensor without requiring an intermediate extension cable.
Unlike standard configurations that use basic FEP cables, this variant has a patented FluidLoc cable (Option 11). This construction contains an internal barrier to prevent lubricating oil or other process fluids from leaking out of the machine housing along the inside of the cable. The integrated coaxial ClickLoc connector is supplied pre-fit with a connector protector to prevent environmental contamination and moisture ingress at the connection point.
Features
- M10 x 1 metric thread configuration without armor.
- 0 mm unthreaded length with a 40 mm overall case length.
- 5.0-meter total system-ready cable length.
- FluidLoc internal cable block to stop fluid migration through the cable core.
- ClickLoc miniature coaxial gold-plated connector with integrated connector protector.
- Standard temperature rating of -52 degC to +177 degC.
Applications
Typical applications include radial shaft vibration, axial position, phase reference, and speed measurements on industrial machines. It is used on turbines, compressors, pumps, fans, and generators in power generation, water treatment, petrochemical, and heavy industrial facilities where metric-threaded mountings are specified.

Installation Guidelines
To avoid binding during thread installation, do not exceed the recommended maximum thread engagement length of 15 mm for M10 x 1 probe cases. Apply the standard probe case installation torque of 7.5 N-m (66 in-lbf), and never exceed the maximum rated torque limit of 22.6 N-m (200 in-lbf). Maintain a minimum cable bend radius of 25.4 mm (1.0 in) along all runs. This probe is designed to connect directly to a 5-meter Proximitor sensor without the use of an intermediate extension cable.
Compliance and Certifications
This specific configuration (Option 00) does not carry hazardous area agency certifications. It is intended for general-purpose applications and non-classified areas where explosion-proof or intrinsically safe approvals are not required.
