This design combines the 3300 XL 8 mm proximity probe and its associated Proximitor sensor inside a single, unified PPS housing assembly. By combining these components, it eliminates the need for an external extension cable between the probe and Proximitor, as well as the separate housing typically required. Standard field wiring connects directly from the monitor to the PROXPAC housing, simplifying installation in tight or harsh industrial environments.

Installation Guidelines

To ensure proper electrical insulation and mechanical alignment, mount the assembly securely to the machine case using the 3/4-14 NPT outer sleeve thread. Ground the housing liner using the internal ground plate. When running conduit, prevent water or moisture accumulation by utilizing the supplied 3/4-14 NPT fittings kit and sealing the conduit entry paths appropriately.
