This integrated configuration consolidates a 3300 XL 8 mm probe and a 3300 XL Proximitor sensor directly within a single glass-reinforced polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) thermoplastic housing. By eliminating the necessity for a separate extension cable and isolated Proximitor housing, this setup facilitates direct connection between the machinery monitors and the transducer assembly, simplifying the electrical wiring topology.

Installation Guidelines

• Torque Limits: Tighten the retaining nut to 29.5 N-m (260 in-lb) and the probe sleeve locknut to 39.3 N-m (350 in-lb) to maintain secure position and sealing.
• Gap Setting: Calibrate the probe to the midpoint of the linear range at 1.27 mm (50 mils) using a digital voltmeter measuring the DC voltage output.
• Conduit Connection: When using flexible conduit, order with integral fittings; seal any unused conduit holes using the supplied blanking plugs.
• Environmental Sealing: Check the Neoprene sleeve O-ring and Viton internal probe O-ring during assembly to prevent ingress of oil or moisture.
