Installation Guidelines

  2. 2 De-energize the main electrical enclosure and verify the absence of voltage using a calibrated multimeter. Apply appropriate LOTO devices.
  3. 3 Insert the Panel PC into the cutout and secure it using the provided mounting clamps. Tighten the clamps evenly to the manufacturer's specified torque to ensure a proper seal.
  4. 4 Connect the Protective Earth (PE) terminal to the cabinet's main ground bus using a low-impedance conductor. This is a critical safety connection.
  5. 5 Connect the DC power supply wiring to the designated terminals, ensuring correct polarity. Use appropriately sized conductors and overcurrent protection.
  6. 6 Connect PROFINET, PROFIBUS, and any required USB cables. Ensure proper shielding and grounding practices are followed for all communication cables to minimize noise interference.
  7. 7 After verifying all connections are secure and correct, remove LOTO devices and re-energize the cabinet to commission the unit.
