  3. 3 Connect the chassis to the cabinet's protective earth (PE) ground point using a low-impedance conductor. A reliable ground connection is essential for safety and noise immunity.
  4. 4 Connect all required interface cables, including Ethernet, USB, serial, and PROFIBUS. Route cables neatly and avoid routing signal cables parallel to high-power AC lines.
  5. 5 Connect the AC power supply cable to a properly rated and protected power source. After verifying all connections, LOTO procedures may be removed and the system can be energized for commissioning.
