The Yokogawa AAI835-S03 (Replaced by AAI835-S53) is a high-reliability analog input/output module belonging to the CENTUM VP distributed control system (DCS) series. Does the module support the connection of external Zener barriers?

No, a Zener barrier is not allowed to be connected with this module. An isolation barrier must be used instead when the device is deployed in intrinsically safe applications.
