Product Description

Allen-Bradley 1771-WC is a field wiring arm designed for use within the Allen-Bradley 1771 I/O system. The device connects directly to analog output modules, including the 1771-OFE series modules (such as 1771-OFE1, 1771-OFE2, and 1771-OFE3), to interface field analog output devices like valve positioners, motor speed controllers, signal converters, or recorders. It pivots on the front of the 1771 I/O chassis, attaching to the horizontal bar at the bottom, which allows modules to be installed or removed without disconnecting user field wiring.

Features

  • Enables module installation and removal without disconnecting field wiring
  • Pivots on the front of the 1771 I/O chassis for modular maintenance
  • Attaches to the horizontal bar at the bottom of the 1771 I/O chassis
  • Includes terminal screws for field wiring terminations
  • Includes a functional ground connection terminal

Applications

  • Interfacing 1771 analog output modules with field analog devices
  • Industrial process control systems using 1771 I/O chassis installations
  • Control panel wiring for valve positioners, motor speed controllers, signal converters, and recorders

Technical Specifications

Parameter Specification
Manufacturer Allen-Bradley
Catalog Number 1771-WC
