The 136N8935 (X version) does not include a Local Control Panel. You can program the drive using an external LCP 11 or LCP 12 accessory, or via a PC connection using the MCT 10 Set-up Software. Once programmed, the LCP can be removed for secure operation.

Is an external brake resistor required for this model?

Because this unit includes a built-in brake chopper (B), it can manage braking energy. However, for applications involving high inertia or frequent stops, you must connect an external brake resistor to the terminals to safely dissipate the heat generated during deceleration.
