Product Description

Description

The Honeywell LG1093AA03 is an ultraviolet (UV) flame detector engineered for industrial power generation gas turbine installations. The LG1093AA03 senses ultraviolet radiation emitted by hydrocarbon flames and provides a signal indicating flame presence or absence. Utilizing a Geiger-Mueller phototube sensing element, the Honeywell LG1093AA03 delivers rapid detection times while maintaining tolerance to black body radiation. Note that model LG1093AA03 is replaced by model LG1093AA24.

Features

  • High sensitivity with fast response time (0.1 sec typical)
  • Geiger Mueller-type phototube sensor detecting ultraviolet band at 1800 to 2600 angstroms
  • Solar blind design tolerant to black body radiation
  • Long service life featuring two-year shelf life and 10,000 hours MTBF
  • Qualified component on General Electric gas turbines

Applications

  • Industrial power generation gas turbine installations
  • Land-based and offshore power generation facilities
  • Pumping stations
  • Shipboard power generation systems
