Ensure the mounting surface is flat and capable of handling the structural weight and rotational reaction forces of the motor. Align the motor shaft precisely with the load shaft; excessive radial or axial load on the shaft can lead to premature bearing or oil seal failure. Connect the protective earth (PE) terminal to the designated ground point of the control panel to mitigate high-frequency electrical noise from the servo amplifier. When routing cables, avoid tight bends and keep the power lines isolated from encoder signal wiring to prevent electromagnetic interference.
