Description

To streamline analog signal generation in industrial automation topologies, the BECKHOFF EL4038 EtherCAT terminal provides eight high-density analog outputs within a compact 12 mm form factor. This 8-channel analog output module converts digital control values from the process image into standard electrical signals ranging from -10 to +10 V with a 12-bit resolution. Operating on single-ended, 1-wire connection technology, the module minimizes panel wiring overhead while maximizing output channel density on the DIN rail. Integrated distributed clocks ensure ultra-precise, synchronized signal output across the entire EtherCAT network, making it suitable for high-speed control loops.
