Description

Integration of legacy DeviceNet fieldbus topologies into high-speed EtherCAT networks is achieved directly through the EL6752 communication module. This 1-channel terminal operates as a fully functional DeviceNet master (scanner), allowing the connection of up to 63 decentralized DeviceNet slaves to a centralized EtherCAT control loop. The module acts as an efficient bridge, handling local fieldbus diagnostics and signal mapping with high deterministic accuracy.
