Mount the Proximitor on a flat metal panel or enclosure surface using the four supplied 6-32 thread-forming panel screws. Strip external field wire insulation to reveal conductors from 0.2 to 1.5 mm2 (16 to 24 AWG) and insert directly into the SpringLoc terminal blocks. Thread coaxial connections finger-tight to ensure robust contact, not exceeding the maximum recommended torque limit of 0.565 Nm (5 in-lb). Maintain environmental conditions within the operating temperature limits and protect coaxial connectors with self-fusing silicone tape if moisture exposure is possible.
