Description

Engineered for high-precision industrial data acquisition, the BECKHOFF EL3751 is a single-channel, multi-function analog input EtherCAT Terminal delivering 24-bit resolution at sampling rates up to 10 ksps. This versatile measurement module processes multiple signal types including voltage, current, resistance, temperature via RTDs, and bridge sensors. By leveraging high-speed oversampling and distributed clocks with sub-microsecond synchronization, it ensures precise timing and dynamic control-loop integration.

The unit features a highly flexible input structure supporting 2-, 3-, 4-, 5-, and 6-wire connection configurations, eliminating the need for various dedicated module types. Onboard digital signal processing features include a freely parameterizable numeric filter, TrueRMS calculations, integration/differentiation, and PeakHold extraction. Additionally, an integrated, parameterizable power supply (0.5 to 5 V) is provided directly on-terminal to power external strain gauges and bridge sensors.
