Installation Guidelines
Chassis Mounting: Securely seat the module into any available slot of a ControlLogix chassis until the top and bottom latches catch firmly.
Wiring & Connection: Connect field wiring to a compatible 36-pin Removable Terminal Block (RTB) housing (such as 1756-TBCH or 1756-TBS6H) before attaching the RTB to the module.
System Grounding: Ensure proper chassis grounding according to standard industrial automation wiring and grounding guidelines.
Keying: Utilize user-defined mechanical RTB keying and software-configurable electronic keying to prevent incorrect module placement.
