Description

The 1756-PB75R is a ControlLogix DC redundant power supply for redundant chassis power configurations. Two power supplies operate together through a redundant power supply chassis adapter.

The paired supplies automatically share the chassis load during normal operation. This arrangement maintains backplane power when one supply experiences an operational anomaly.

The module accepts a nominal 24V DC input. It provides regulated 1.2V DC, 3.3V DC, 5.1V DC, and 24V DC outputs to the ControlLogix backplane.

Visual status indicators show the operating condition of the supply pair. A solid-state annunciator relay supports external status monitoring through an input module.

The redundant system requires two power supplies, two redundant power cables, and one chassis adapter. The redundancy design covers power supply anomalies but excludes the chassis adapter and power cables.

Features

  • Redundant operation with two matched power supplies
  • Automatic chassis load sharing
  • Visual status indication for the supply pair
  • Solid-state relay for external supply-status monitoring
  • Separate annunciator connection for system diagnostics
  • Compatible with ControlLogix redundant power supply chassis adapters
  • Supports one-chassis and two-chassis redundant configurations
  • Open-style construction for enclosure installation
  • Redundancy coverage limited to power supply operational anomalies

  • Redundant ControlLogix chassis power
  • Continuous process control systems
  • Production line control systems
  • Machine control requiring power supply redundancy
  • Critical controller and I/O chassis
  • Process monitoring and supervisory control
  • Industrial systems requiring power status annunciation
