Description

The BECKHOFF C9900-E765 is a push-button extension designed specifically for integration with CP6xxx and CP7xxx Control Panels and Panel PCs featuring a 15-inch display without a keyboard. This operator interface accessory mounts directly to the right side of compatible control hardware, providing machine operators with physical control elements for primary machine functions.

The unit incorporates a comprehensive set of operator controls, including fourteen push-button keys equipped with integrated signal lamps and one direct-wire emergency stop key. Signal transmission for the push-button keys and indicator lamps is handled via CP-Link or USB communication interfaces, while terminal block connections support direct wiring requirements where needed.

Installation Guidelines

1. Verify that the control system power is completely disconnected and locked out before beginning installation.
2. Inspect the C9900-E765 unit and mounting interface on the compatible 15-inch CP6xxx or CP7xxx Control Panel or Panel PC for any transport damage or debris.
3. Attach the push-button extension securely to the right side of the control panel according to the mechanical mounting specifications.
4. Connect the internal communication interface (CP-Link or USB) as required for button state and signal lamp control.
5. Perform hard-wiring connections to the terminal row for any direct normally-open contacts and wire the emergency stop key in accordance with local safety regulations and system schematics.
6. Check all electrical connections, grounding, and physical mounting stability before restoring power to the control panel.
7. Perform a functional commissioning check to verify proper communication of all push-buttons, illumination of signal lamps, and correct operation of the emergency stop circuit.
