This robust hardware solution is engineered to operate directly on-site in demanding industrial environments, functioning as both a reliable controller and a Human-Machine Interface (HMI).

Housed in a sturdy aluminum front with a sheet-steel rear cover, the unit provides IP65 protection on the front side, making it highly resistant to dust and moisture ingress. At the core of the device is an ARM Cortex-A8 processor operating at 1 GHz, backed by 1 GB of DDR3 RAM and non-volatile 128 kByte NOVRAM memory to prevent data loss in the event of power disruptions. Industrial communication is supported natively through on-board Ethernet and EtherCAT interfaces, allowing seamless integration with TwinCAT control systems.

Installation Guidelines

• Mounting: Insert the device into the prepared control cabinet cutout. Secure using the integrated pull-out clamping levers. Tighten the levers evenly to compress the front-plate seal and achieve the IP65 rating.
• Power Supply Connection: Use a low-noise, regulated 24 V DC power supply. Ensure appropriate grounding principles are followed to prevent electromagnetic interference (EMI).
• Ventilation: Ensure a clearance space of at least 50 mm above and below the rear housing cover to permit sufficient convective air circulation. Do not operate the device in sealed spaces with ambient temperatures exceeding 55 degC.
