Description

The BECKHOFF CX5020-0110 is a DIN-rail-mountable Embedded PC designed for low-to-medium performance industrial control and automation tasks. Equipped with an Intel Atom Z530 processor running at 1.6 GHz, this modular controller integrates the central processing unit, power supply, and direct I/O interfaces within a single compact housing. Installation Guidelines

1. Ensure that the power supply to the entire control cabinet is completely de-energized before mounting, removing, or wiring the controller.
2. Position the controller on a standard 35 mm DIN rail (EN 60715) with vertical mounting orientation to facilitate proper convective cooling airflow.
3. Verify that the external DC power supply aligns with the 24 V DC requirements, incorporating proper terminal polarity and wire routing.
4. Secure functional grounding (PE) connections to the DIN rail or backplate to ensure stable electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) performance.
5. Insert terminal modules (E-bus or K-bus) into the right-hand interface slot. The unit will automatically detect the terminal platform on initial startup boot sequences.
