Description

The Bently Nevada 1900/65A-00-01-01-00-00 general-purpose equipment monitor provides continuous monitoring and machinery protection for general-purpose industrial equipment. Designed for standalone or integrated operation, the 1900/65A-00-01-01-00-00 processes inputs from four transducer channels and four temperature channels. The 1900/65A supports 2-wire and 3-wire accelerometers, velocity sensors, and proximity probes on channels 1 through 4, while channels 5 through 8 accept Type E, J, K, and T thermocouples as well as 2-wire and 3-wire RTDs. Output features include six programmable SPDT relays, four 4-20 mA recorder outputs, and dedicated buffered outputs for dynamic signal analysis. This configuration includes an attached display module, DIN rail mounting hardware, and Modbus communication support over Ethernet and software-configurable RS232/RS485 serial ports.

Installation Guidelines

  • Mount the unit onto a standard 35 mm DIN rail using the provided mounting clip.
  • Ensure adequate ventilation space around the Monitor Module housing during panel integration.
  • Wire input sensors using shielded twisted-pair cables according to the field wiring requirements.
  • Maintain a dedicated low-impedance ground connection to the chassis ground terminal.
  • For zener barrier installations, remove the internal ground jumper to isolate circuit common from chassis ground.
  • Use 18 to 36 Vdc external DC power supply lines with appropriate circuit protection.
