Ensure the machine casing is securely affixed to the bearing when measuring radial vibration to maintain accurate relative vibration signals. When installing, thread the housing onto the 3/4-14 NPT connection, adjust the probe gap through the housing, and secure with the provided retaining nut. If unused holes are present, utilize the provided hole plugs and tighten to 0.5 N-m (5 in-lbs) to maintain environmental protection ratings.
