Ensure the machine casing is properly affixed to the bearing to obtain an accurate relative vibration signal. Install the outer sleeve into the machine case, then insert the probe sleeve and adjust the probe gap before fitting the housing. All unused housing ports must be sealed with the provided plugs. Tighten hole plug nuts to 0.5 N-m (5 in-lbs) if applicable.
