The assembly is constructed from polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), a high-strength thermoplastic offering excellent corrosion resistance, with components made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel.

Ensure the machine casing is affixed to the bearing to maintain an accurate relative vibration signal for radial measurements. When installing, insert the probe sleeve into the machine case and adjust the probe gap before fitting the housing over the outer sleeve. Secure the housing using the provided retainer and retaining nut. If using conduit fittings, ensure all unused holes are sealed with the provided plugs tightened to 0.5 N-m (5 in-lbs).
