Installation Guidelines

Ensure standard engineering practices are followed during installation:

• Mount the probe with the appropriate probe gap per system calibration, typically gapped at 1.27 mm (50 mils) for standard operation with a 3300 XL Proximitor sensor.
• Ensure the minimum cable bend radius of 25.4 mm (1.0 in) is not violated during routing.
• Apply a maximum case torque of 33.9 N-m (300 in-lbf) during installation on forward-mounted configurations, or 7.5 N-m (66 in-lbf) for the first three threads.
