Installation Guidelines

• Grounding: Ensure the sensor system is single-point grounded, typically at the Proximitor sensor's COM terminal.
• Thread Engagement: Maximum thread engagement for the M10x1 thread is 15 mm. Exceeding this limit can cause binding.
• Connector Torque: Connectors should be tightened finger tight. Do not use pliers on XL-to-XL gold click-type connectors.
• Minimum Gap: Set the physical probe gap using a voltmeter or calibrated spacer according to the system specifications (typically 1.27 mm or 50 mils for mid-range).
