Installation Guidelines

• Thread Engagement: Ensure thread engagement does not exceed the maximum limit of 15 mm for M10 x 1 threads to prevent physical binding during installation.
• Cable Routing: Use appropriate conduit or cable trays to protect the unarmored coaxial cable from mechanical wear and electromagnetic interference.
• Connection Torque: Connect the probe coaxial connector to the extension cable coaxial connector finger-tight. Do not over-torque using mechanical tools.
• Gap Setting: Set the physical probe gap to approximately 1.27 mm (50 mils) or -10 Vdc to align the measurement within the linear operating range.
• System Grounding: Properly ground the sensor system at the Proximitor end only, with coaxial shields electrically isolated from the machinery casing.
