330104-00-11-10-02-05: This 3300 XL 8 mm proximity probe configuration is defined by an M10 x 1 metric thread with flexible stainless steel armor, a 0 mm unthreaded length (fully threaded case), a 110 mm overall case length, a 1.0 m (3.3 ft) total cable length, and a miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector on standard cable with no connector protector. It is certified with hazardous area agency approvals including CSA, ATEX, and IECEx.

This specific configuration incorporates a protective metal armor sheath over the coaxial cable to guard against abrasive wear, crushing, and cutting in demanding industrial applications. Unlike the unarmored 330103 model series, this armored model provides increased physical shielding. The standard ClickLoc connector without a protector allows for straightforward routing through tight conduits and standard bulkhead fittings. Designed as part of a complete non-contact eddy-current transducer system, this probe provides static (position) and dynamic (vibration) measurements when paired with a matching 3300 XL extension cable and Proximitor sensor.

Installation Guidelines

• Thread Engagement: Do not exceed 15 mm of thread engagement inside the bracket or machine housing to prevent mechanical binding.
• Tightening Torque: Tighten the probe case to a maximum torque of 9.9 N-m (88 in-lb) using a 10 mm hexagonal wrench.
• Connector Assembly: Align and press the male and female ClickLoc connectors together finger-tight. Do not use pliers or other tools to tighten standard gold ClickLoc connections.
• Conduit Clearance: Ensure the armored cable is not pulled taut over sharp edges. Maintain a minimum bend radius of 25.4 mm to prevent armor fatigue.
