Installation Guidelines

• Mounting Alignment: Carefully thread the probe into the mounting bracket or casing using the integrated M10 hexagonal flat. Do not exceed 15 mm of thread engagement depth to prevent binding or thread deformation.
• Gap Setting: Align and gap the probe to a nominal bias voltage of -9 Vdc (approximately 1.27 mm or 50 mils) relative to the AISI 4140 steel target surface.
• Cable Handling: Maintain a minimum cable bend radius of 25.4 mm (1.0 inch) for the armored section. Avoid twisting or pulling on the armor sheath during installation.
• Connector Assembly: Secure the gold-plated miniature ClickLoc connector by tightening finger-tight. Do not use pliers, as this can degrade the gold finish and connection integrity.
