Installation Guidelines

• Maintain a minimum of 15 mm thread engagement during installation to prevent thread damage or binding.
• Ensure the probe-to-extension cable ClickLoc connector is securely joined; hand-tighten only to prevent damage to gold plating.
• Ensure the flexible conduit armor is routed away from sharp edges or moving parts that could pinch the stainless steel sheath.
• Maintain appropriate clearance around the probe tip (typically a minimum of 40 mm diameter of clear area around the tip) to avoid side-view crosstalk or interference from adjacent metal surfaces.
• Always gap the probe to the midpoint of its linear range (approximately -10 Vdc or 1.27 mm / 50 mils gap) using a voltmeter and Proximitor output prior to final tightening of locking nuts.
