Installation Guidelines

Ensure the assembly is installed with the correct torque on the 3/4-14 NPT mounting thread. The PROXPAC XL housing design requires no external extension cables, but field wiring to the monitor should utilize 3-conductor shielded triax cable (1.0 mm2 / 18 AWG). When installing in hazardous areas, ensure the wiring meets the requirements specified in the hazardous area drawings (refer to Bently Nevada documentation 140979 or 141092). Maintain proper gap setting (nominal 1.27 mm / 50 mils) between the probe tip and the target.
