This non-contact eddy-current displacement probe is designed for the 3300 XL NSv Proximity Transducer System, specifically configured for applications with restricted installation space or small target geometries.

The 3300 XL NSv system is engineered for machinery where standard Bently Nevada 3300 and 3300 XL 5 mm or 8 mm systems are limited by counter bore, side-view, or rear-view constraints. This probe provides precise radial vibration, axial position, and speed measurements on small-bore machinery, aeroderivative turbines, and high-speed equipment. It is fully compatible with the 3300 XL NSv Proximitor Sensor and 3300 NSv extension cable to form a complete calibrated measurement chain.

Installation Guidelines

Ensure the probe is installed using the appropriate mounting hole, taking care not to exceed the thread engagement limits. When using an M8x1 thread, the maximum thread engagement is 12 mm. Use finger-tight torque for final positioning before applying the locknut torque. Ensure the system is connected to a 3300 XL NSv Proximitor Sensor using a matching 3300 NSv extension cable. Avoid installation in environments exceeding the specified temperature ranges to prevent pressure seal failure.
