Installation Guidelines

  • DIN Rail Installation: Securely mount the I/O pack onto a standard TS35 DIN rail. Ensure the locking mechanism engages completely to prevent movement caused by mechanical vibration.
  • Grounding: Establish a low-impedance connection between the mounting rack/DIN rail and the primary system safety ground busbar to mitigate EMI/RFI interference.
  • Cooling and Ventilation: Maintain at least 50 mm of unobstructed space above and below the module to facilitate natural convection cooling. Do not exceed the ambient temperature rating of 65 degC.
  • Cable Routing: Route low-voltage Ethernet networks and signal lines in separate wire ducts away from high-voltage AC power lines to prevent signal cross-talk.
  • Network Termination: Connect both Ethernet ports to designated network switches (IONet switches) to achieve full communications redundancy.
