Description

The General Electric IS200ERIOH1A is an Exciter Regulator I/O board designed for the EX2100 Excitation Regulator and the Mark VI series control systems. This printed circuit board provides the primary interface for system I/O and customer I/O signals, operating in both simplex and redundant regulator control configurations.

For simplex configurations, the IS200ERIOH1A mounts directly in the ERBP (Exciter Regulator Backplane) and interfaces customer I/O signals through the ECTBG2 and EPCT terminal boards. It also interfaces system I/O signals for the EROC (Exciter Regulator Options Card) and ERDD (Exciter Regulator Interface and Dynamic Discharge). In redundant systems, the card mounts in the ERRB backplane and additionally interfaces system I/O signals for the ERRR (Exciter Regulator Redundant Relay). Data acquisition and storage into Dual Port Memory (DPM) are managed on-board by an integrated Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA).

Features

  • Configured for both simplex and redundant EX2100 Regulator Control application architectures
  • Interconnects with EPCT and ECTB terminal boards via two 25-pin connectors on the backplane
  • On-board FPGA manages data acquisition and storage directly into Dual Port Memory (DPM)
  • Interfaces system I/O signals for EROC, ERDD, and ERRR system cards
  • Hardware revision represented by the "A" revision designation suffix

Applications

  • EX2100 Excitation Control Systems for gas, steam, and hydro power generation
  • Mark VI series turbine and generator control integration
  • Industrial generator excitation control and regulation
