Description

The Honeywell LG1093AA04 is a ultraviolet (UV) flame sensor designed for flameout protection in industrial gas turbine applications. As part of the LG1093 sensor family, the LG1093AA04 utilizes a Geiger Mueller-type sensor phototube to detect ultraviolet radiation emitted by hydrocarbon flames in the 1800 to 2600 angstrom spectrum. The sensor is engineered to be solar blind and tolerant to black body radiation, producing a precise output signal to indicate flame presence or absence to the monitoring system. This unit features a 3/4 inch internal NPT mounting interface and comes equipped with a 16-foot (4.9 m) Teflon shielded cable with a 1-inch external conduit thread for integration with flame monitoring control panels.
