Installation Guidelines
CRITICAL WARNING: Hazardous voltages are present. Installation must be performed by qualified personnel only. Failure to de-energize equipment and follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures before installation can result in severe injury or death.
-
1
Prepare the Enclosure: Ensure the mounting panel is clean, flat, and correctly sized for the PC's cutout dimensions. Verify adequate clearance for ventilation and cable routing behind the unit.
-
2
Mount the Unit: Insert the Panel PC into the prepared cutout from the front of the panel. Secure it from the rear using the provided mounting clamps, tightening them evenly to the manufacturer's specified torque to ensure a proper seal.
-
3
Establish Ground Connection: Connect the chassis ground terminal on the Panel PC to the enclosure's main protective earth (PE) busbar using a low-impedance conductor. This is critical for safety and noise immunity.
-
4
Connect Power and Peripherals: With the main power still locked out, connect the 115-230V AC mains supply using the provided cable. Connect all required communication, USB, and other I/O cables, ensuring proper strain relief.
-
5
Final Checks and Power-Up: Verify all connections are secure and correctly terminated. Remove all tools from the enclosure. After completing all safety checks and removing the LOTO device, apply power to the unit and verify correct boot-up and operation.
