  4. 4 Connect the 24 V DC power supply. Double-check for correct polarity (+/-) at the terminal block to prevent permanent damage to the unit.
  5. 5 Connect the chassis to the cabinet's protective earth (PE) ground using the designated grounding terminal. A low-impedance ground connection is essential for safety and noise immunity.
  6. 6 Reconnect all communication and peripheral cables (e.g., Ethernet, serial, USB) as required by the application.
  7. 7 After verifying all connections, remove the lockout/tagout and re-energize the cabinet. Power on the Panel PC and confirm that the operating system boots correctly.
